Access Control
VAMS manages access to limited, restricted and secure areas using anti-passback enabled proximity cards that grant or deny right of way through physical barriers, perimeter access points, turnstiles, doors and gates.
Event Monitoring
Records all events concurrently and in real time. Separates successful or failed events from a single gate or from multiple (up to 256) access points. Report and query events filtered by date/time, event type, gate, occupant and contractor.
Card Management
A selection of best-of-breed card solutions with optional photo ID, stored value and encoded personnel compliance details. Cards are assigned to occupants and activated based on shift, time of day or on/off site movement.
Central 'Dashboard'
Data moves freely between access points and VAMS via TCP/IP on a timed or operator initiated basis. All functions including reporting managed and controlled from a single-screen administrator's dashboard.

How it Works
VAMS access control is a fully integrated component of the VAMS solution.
Information about the workforce is freely accessible to the system including member movements, access rights and rosters.
The controller is on a separate battery backup and will operate and store data in cases of system down or power failure.

Card allocation screen
Cards are allocated as part of the mobilisation process.
Allocate then control activation/de-activation based around rosters and on-site authorisation.
Cards lists and numbers are security protected requiring the operator to have physical access to the card.
'Clam shell' cards are hard wearing, security encrypted and preferable to the more vulnerable and error prone bar code approach.
