People and Rosters
Generates flight and accommodation bookings for all your contractors and staff forward to a time horizon of your choosing based on roster patterns and past itineraries. Records personnel, contact, medical, travel and compliance information.
Services and Timetables
Services include scheduled and chartered flights, accommodation, training courses, seminars and more. User initiated booking requests from timetables published on the web. Unlimited sectors and support for sector "sharing" between services.
Bookings and Itineraries
A Movement Request raised by the user describes all the required services and subsequently becomes the traveller's itinerary. A passenger bulk transfers function assists with last minute "juggling" between flights.
Manifests and Ticketing
Manifests list travellers, their attributes and their booking status, together with transport details common to all travellers. Integrated costing assists with chargeback and on-charging. Ticketing is an optional step.

Travel Dashboard
The Travel Dashboard provides a one-stop method of managing: flights, passengers and payload.
Imminent flights are listed in departure date and time sequence.
Supporting information includes: places of origin and destination, departure date and time, maximum and current payload and maximum and current Pax.
The screen displays passenger details by name, gender, weight, luggage details and booking status.
Operations performed at the dashboard include amendment of:
- Flight details (time of departure, pilot name, type of plane and more).
- Passenger details (booking status, manifest status and weights) and
- Payload and passenger 'balancing' using passenger transfers between flights.
Permission to Visit Site
The 'Permission To Visit Site' (PTVS) form is a standard part of the travel authorisation process at most sites. VAMS takes this process a step further by offering the opportunity for contractors, staff and other stakeholders to make their own travel requests electronically over the web. The requester may then print out, sign and fax the PTVS so that the site has the 'wet signature' copy.
Meanwhile the travel co-ordinator has no data entry to do. The request is automatically routed through a workflow controlled process that can include roles such as the site manager, requestor's supervisor, HR and travel co-ordinators.
Movement Reporting
The Travel Movement Report provides a way to view passenger travel by Flight, Contractor, Name and more. Standard VAMS reporting functionality provides the user with the ability to Sort by, Group by and select data using nested Boolean expressions. Users can view a variety of formats including confirmed, cancelled, no shows, show goes and more. Data can be viewed in the browser or exported to Word or Excel format. Through a process of templates and views the user can select the right format for the right audience.
